68 lbs and Six Weeks to Go!

Day one.

Today began at 4 am with Myriam and the crew at Value Village.

I managed to pick as much as I could carry from the morning maintenance and headed home.

As soon as there was light I began sorting through my pile with my helper loos who sniffed out

the good finds!

I wasn't originally planning on using pinks and blues

but they seem to be dominating the pile...

For the past few seasons Eco Fashion Week has been challenging local designers to transform 68 lbs of unwanted clothing into a collection featured during fashion week. Very happy to say that Young Oak will be taking on the challenge this April!

Brain Storming and Storm Chasing

While I was chasing storms in Arizona I received two boxes of the most exciting goods from Japan!

Nothing gets my brain storming like these vintage kasuri kimono silks. getting oh so giddy.
